Andrew R. Meeks

Mr. Meeks has over eight years experience in consulting and
counseling with a diverse background in sales, sales management,
marketing and information systems management with both emerging and
established computer technology companies.
Upon graduating from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN with a
BS in Business and concentrations in marketing and international
studies, Mr. Meeks spent three years at Hartford Computer Group.
While at Hartford, Mr. Meeks held several sales positions where he
was able to gross over $1.5 million in sales at a 5.5% higher margin
than the industry average. He was also the co-founder of
Hartford’s Internet Sales Division and a founding member of the
Corporate Catalog Division.
Mr. Meeks was then recruited by Geodesic Systems, a computer
software company based in Chicago, IL. In 1996 and 1997, under his
guidance as Regional Manager, Geodesic Systems grew over 400% in
sales each year and quadrupled in staff. Mr. Meeks’ management
responsibilities with Geodesic Systems included the Midwest outside
sales force, national telesales division, international sales, and
reseller channel sales. In 1998, Mr. Meeks was promoted to Director
of Marketing and responsible for all advertising, public relations,
tradeshows, direct mail and product management for their award
winning Great Circle products.
Mr. Meeks also has extensive Information Systems Management
experience in Internet computing, networking, systems
setup/maintenance, and implementing sales automation systems.
Mr. Meeks currently serves as a director for the Madeline Meeks
Foundation, dedicated to help those less fortunate in the areas of
food, shelter and education. Mr. Meeks is also an adult leader and
counselor for Knox Presbyterian Church Youth Fellowship program
encouraging positive self-image and spiritual growth in high school
youth. |
