Minneapolis in 1992 and provides financially focused consultative support

Brian F. Gagan
Brian is a Leadership Strategies, LLC partner and holds management and
human resources degrees from the University of Maine and Syracuse
University. He has lived throughout America and in Europe and his
background includes large business unit management experience and more
than twenty years in the human resources arena. He maintains an active
role with several Board appointments and he has worked with companies in
nearly all business sectors, large and small, domestic and international.
He has held executive and officer positions with The Maine Medical Center,
Burger King Corporation, The Pepsi-Cola Company, and Blockbuster
Entertainment Corporation.
Kevin C. Grindle, PHR
Kevin is a Leadership Strategies, LLC partner and holds a Bachelor’s
degree from San Diego University and is certified as a Professional in
Human Resources (PHR) from The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
His background includes over twenty years of operations management and
human resources experience in the automotive aftermarket industry. Some of
Kevin’s areas of specialty are organizational design/effectiveness,
training and development, total reward systems, human asset analysis,
mergers and acquisitions, recruitment, and staff retention.
Patricia M. Hayden
Patricia is the leader of our Global Leadership practice and earned her
Master of Arts degree from UCLA in Latin American Studies and
International Economics and received her Bachelor of Science degree from
Georgetown University, where she graduated with honors from the School of
Languages and Linguistics. She also studied International Affairs and
European Studies at the University of Madrid, Spain. Patricia has twelve
years experience providing global management consulting and cross-cultural
coaching services to over forty-five companies in thirty countries around
the world. She specializes in the languages and cultures of South America,
Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and the Gulf States.
John G. Bruhn, Ph.D.
Dr. Bruhn leads our Organizational Ethics practice and earned both his
B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Nebraska, and his Ph.D. in
Medical Sociology from Yale University. At Yale, Dr. Bruhn was a
Commonwealth Fund-Yale Fellow and a U.S. Public Health Service Fellow.
After graduation he received a U.S. Fulbright Fellowship to the University
of Edinburgh, Scotland. He has also been a John E. Fogarty Health Science
Fellow to Poland and a World Health Organization Fellow to Australia and
New Zealand.
Dr. Bruhn has served as professor, Dean, Vice President and Provost at
several universities including The University of Oklahoma and The
University of Texas. He most recently served as Provost and Dean and
Professor of Sociology at Penn State University-Harrisburg.
Dr. Bruhn is known for his outstanding contributions in the areas of
leadership, and management of complex organizations during periods of
growth, downsizing, and reframing. He has well-honed skills in strategic
planning, development of partnerships and networks among organizations,
and business ethics. Dr. Bruhn is an expert in assisting organizations in
the use of trust as a tool to maintain healthy and productive
organizations through teamwork, delegation, unified efforts and
streamlined decision-making.
Dr. Bruhn is the author of many articles and books and has served as an
expert advisor and consultant to many state, national, and international
organizations in the areas of medicine, public health and organizational
performance and effectiveness. His most recent book, “Trust And The Health
Of Organizations” published by Kluwer/Plenum Publishers is an exceptional
hardcover resource devoted to the relationship between trust and ethical
