Nancy L. Thompson

Ms. Thompson offers an extensive and practical “hands-on” human resources background to her clients. With direct generalist managerial experience in retail, not-for-profit and manufacturing industries, Nancy is well versed in the day-to-day operations of human resource departments.

Nancy has specific expertise in human resource processes including developing organizations, through effective programs to increase employee competence. Refining recruitment/staffing processes and the design/implementation of training programs for line managers.

As a liaison between the management team and employees, Nancy has provided the leadership and direction to move the corporate HR program to an employee-centered department that effectively meets all employee needs while achieving employee training and retention goals.

Ms. Thompson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a minor in Coaching from Eastern Illinois University. Prior to her career in human resources, she was a teacher and a coach.
